Mechanical Engineer


Minn-Dak Farmers Cooperative is seeking a full time Mechanical Engineer to perform mechanical and process design with emphasis on project management from concept, scope and budget development, justification, appropriation request, vendor and contractor selection and management, coordination with departments, safety compliance, financial monitoring, installation, start-up, commissioning, and project closure.  This position reports directly to the Director of Engineering.

Essential Job Duties
•    Mechanical and process design with emphasis on project management
•    Design analysis and layouts
•    Research and development
•    Implement product improvements
•    Support factory projects
•    Manage vendor and contractor selection including budget development

Qualifications
•    A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering degree from an accredited college or university

Outstanding benefit package including health, vision, and dental insurance; 401(k); vacation; discretionary annual bonus.  Salary based on experience.
